4 April 2009: On Saturday, 4 April 2009, the Rotary Club of Kigali-Virunga hosted Zachary D. Kaufman and Dr. Phil Clark for a launch of the book they co-edited, After Genocide: Transitional Justice, Post-Conflict Reconstruction, and Reconciliation in Rwanda and Beyond, profits of which the co-editors are donating to the Kigali Public Library, Rwanda’s first-ever public library. The event was held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kigali Public Library, which the Rotary Club of Kigali-Virunga, in conjunction with the American Friends of the Kigali Public Library, is building.
